Medium early, fertile, spring onion heirloom, ready for harvest in 80 days. Green leaves are dense and thick, aromatic, very luscious, sweet and slightly spicy, great flavoured. Stem ends with pink, mild tasting, sweet little bulb. Among the most popular spring onion varieties. Best to be eaten fresh, especially tasty fried. Resistant to low temperatures.
Growing: Not suitable for tropical climate.
Planting season: early spring, direct seeding once the soil can be worked.
Soil: well drained, fertile, rich in organic matter.
